They came for 4 weeks back in April to take part in the Dubrovnik Digital Nomads-in-Residence program.
But they can’t quite seem to keep away…
The 4th Olive Picking World Championships took place in Postira on the island of Brac last week, a unique way to promote this important Dalmatian tradition.
Brac is the island with the most olive trees in all Croatia, and since 2017, olive picking teams from all over the world take part in the very competitive competition, some from as far away as New Zealand.
Nine countries were represented at this year’s event, whose teams each comprised two male and two female pickers. And there was also a tenth team…
The extra-virgin digital nomads – four Dubrovnik Digital Nomads-in-Residence and their olive picking coach and architect of the DNIR program.
Charlie from Wales, Sam from England, Alyssa from USA, and Rob from the Netherlands, were clearly expertly coached by Australian Tanja Polegubic, as the Extra Virgin nomads came in a creditable fifth.
But in terms of their presentation video, our Extra Virgins were the clear winners.
